The Carpenters - Richard Carpenter (1946 - ) and Karen Carpenter (1950 - 83) Rare vintage pair of individual signatures of the chart-topping soft rock duo in blue felt-tip pen on 4x5-inch portion of a tan album page, acquired in-person by a noted Los Angeles, California-based autograph hound in the early 1970s. Character actor Carter DeHaven signs on the verso, also in blue felt tip pen. Close trimming which grazes the top of the C in Richard's signature; otherwise, in good condition for its age. Honey-voiced Karen Carpenter died of complications from various eating disorders at the age of 32 and her autograph is virtually impossible to find in any format.
