Sir Edmund Hillary (1919 – 2008), world-renowned New Zealand mountaineer notable for his historic summit of Mount Everest, authentic, autographed 11 x 14” glossy photograph. On May 29, 1953, Hillary and Nepalese Sherpa mountaineer Tenzing Norgay became the first climbers to successfully reach the summit of the world’s highest mountain.  Following his historic climb, Hillary devoted most of his life to helping the Sherpa people, aiding in the construction of many schools and hospitals in Nepal.
